Landscape crew Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance and landscaping projects. Duties

• Supervise, guide, and support a team of landscape crew members to complete landscaping, lawn care, horticulture, and general maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
• Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Perform and oversee landscape installation and construction activities, including planting, grading, sod installation, artificial turf installation, and occasional hardscape projects
• Conduct tree care services such as pruning, trimming, and basic health assessments in accordance with industry and safety standards
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety protocols and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean, organized job site
• Train, mentor, and support crew members in proper landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company expectations and client specifications
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding project updates, needs, and any issues that arise
• Maintain and oversee proper use, care, and storage of tools, equipment, and vehicles

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on lawn care and garden management
• Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, irrigation systems, tree care practices, and gardening techniques
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards related to landscape maintenance and construction sites
• Strong communication skills for clear instruction and team collaboration
