Landscape Crew Leader

Will lead a crew of team members and oversee assigned installation jobs ensuring that all work performed is done with attention to detail, meet deadlines, and to budget. Qualified applicants will have a passion to create quality landscapes, will value teamwork, and will have a positive can-do attitude. In addition, the candidate needs to have at least 3 years’ experience with landscape installations and/or maintenance. At least 1 year of prior management experience is preferred. Plant identification knowledge is a big plus.

Key Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish
• Florida Drivers license with good driving record
• Comfortable or able to learn how to drive pick up trucks and trailers
• Comfortable or able to learn how to operate landscape machinery such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and lawn equipment
• Experience in landscape installation and/or landscape maintenance
• Willing to work flexible hours depending upon each individual job demand
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Good ability to clearly communicate with crew members, customers and peers
• Dedicated focus to quality

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality of work and make proactive recommendations as needed to clients/management. This is very important.
• Make sure the crew is following safety protocols
• Manage a crew for residential and/or commercial installation projects as well as maintenance work as needed
• Ensure that team has the proper equipment to accomplish jobs in the most effective manner to ensure quality
• Train team members as needed
• Manage time, productivity, and material record keeping
• Demonstrate a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Communicate clearly to customers, team members, and managers

Pay: $25-$40 per hour
