Landscape Crew Member

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various landscaping and maintenance tasks, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. This role involves working outdoors in diverse environments, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties.

Duties

• Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks, including, mowing, string trimming, edging, weeding, and blowing.
• Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Engage in gardening activities, including planting, pruning, and maintaining flower beds.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
• Perform landscape construction tasks, including, raking, laying sod, planting plants, spreading mulch and straw.

Skills

• minimum : Must know how to use a weed eater and blower at a professional level with the willingness to learn new skills.
• Skills in construction equipment such as skid steer, excavator and other heavy equipment is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience in landscape maintenance and landscape construction
• Familiarity with construction practices related to landscaping projects.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Notes

• As we are hiring in the slower part of the year, hours will vary. We are looking for individuals to bring something valuable to the table and grow with us. Upon proving that you are a valuable asset to Cromer Landscape, higher wages and salary opportunities would be presented.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
