Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to ensure healthy, vibrant turf
• Assist with landscape maintenance such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and performing basic repairs to ensure proper watering
• Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning tools and performing routine checks on machinery like excavators or other construction equipment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools effectively
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, and general landscape maintenance techniques
• Knowledge of landscaping principles including hardscape installation and horticulture practices
• Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, as well as power tools safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with equipment like excavators for larger construction or site preparation tasks
• Understanding of tree care practices including trimming and pruning for health and safety
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
