Landscape Crew Member/Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation of enhancements to include plants, trees, and shrubs, as well as performing mulching, trimming, and general landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate must have experience operating landscape equipment and safely driving trucks, including but not limited to F750s with air brakes, and may be required to tow trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs in accordance with project designs and client specifications.
• Perform mulching, trimming, pruning, and other landscape maintenance tasks using hand tools and power equipment.
• Operate trucks, including F750s with air brakes, to transport equipment, materials, and personnel to and from job sites.
• Safely tow and maneuver trailers when required.
• Maintain all equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all company safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure job quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL endorsement preferred but not required.
• Experience operating F750 trucks with air brakes and towing trailers.
• Knowledge of landscape installation techniques and plant care.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power equipment, including trimmers and pruners.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage based on experience.
• Overtime pay available for hours exceeding 40 per week.
• Eligible for company benefits after the probationary period.

Pay: $17.65 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
