Island Home Service is a growing, high-end landscape company looking to add a junior landscape designer or landscape architect to our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career, including students or recent graduates, who want to gain real-world experience, learn from experienced professionals, and grow within a company.

About the Role

You will work closely with our senior landscape architect and designer on a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role is focused on learning, supporting the design process, and gradually taking on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing landscape design plans and layouts
• Support senior designers with day-to-day project tasks
• Conduct site visits and take measurements as needed
• Help with plant selection and material coordination
• Assist with proposals, presentations, and basic drawings
• Coordinate with internal teams and project managers

What We Are Looking For

• Student or recent graduate in landscape architecture, design, or related field
• Strong interest in landscape design and outdoor environments
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software (preferred)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
