Landscape Designer

LDE Landscapes, Inc. is a professional landscape and lawncare company operating in the Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Established in 1989, we are a small business seeking to hire a highly motivated, experienced individual to meet with clients, produce high quality residential landscape designs, and oversee landscape projects from start to completion.

Individual will earn a salary plus a substantial commission package.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
- Design and create high quality landscape designs, including plant selection, hardscape features, and irrigation systems
- Use professional computer-aided design software to illustrate and present design concepts to clients
- Prepare and present project proposals and contracts to clients
- Provide guidance and supervision to landscape crews from start of project until completion
- Pick up materials for projects as needed during install

Skills:
- 1-4 years relevant experience in landscape design of residential projects is required.
- Must be proficient in professional computer-aided design software for creating detailed plans.

- Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Comfortable selling services and negotiating contracts
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Self-motivated and works well independently
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation is a plus.
- Irrigation design license or a willingness to become licensed
