Landscape Designer

Mile High Landscaping (MHL) currently seeks a creative, construction savvy landscape designer to join our team. We are looking for an experienced professional who listens intently to clients and works closely with our team to design, bid, and sell jobs to high-end residential clients. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail oriented, and highly motivated. Extensive knowledge about conceptual design, construction, hardscapes, drainage, bidding, estimating, and horticulture is required. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated blend of construction intelligence and consultative sales expertise, ensuring that MHL continues to deliver high-caliber projects that exceed client expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Client Relations: Meet on site with prospective clients to understand their vision and budget and provide expertise about design, construction, and plantings.
• Project Design & Specification: Inspect work areas to determine the type of work required and materials and equipment to be used, including site measurements. Develop comprehensive residential landscape designs in SketchUp or CAD that integrate aesthetic excellence with structural integrity.
• Technical Estimating: Execute detailed bids and project estimates, leveraging extensive knowledge of hardscapes, drainage systems, and civil construction requirements.

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay is commensurate with experience and average sales; this is a commission-based role; overall compensation determined by overall sales.
