Landscape Designer/ Estimator

Job Overview
Redwood Landscape is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Designer / Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for meeting with clients, designing landscape projects, preparing estimates and proposals, and coordinating with operations to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in landscape construction and plant materials.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residential and commercial clients to discuss landscape goals and project needs
• Create landscape designs, layouts, and concepts
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and material takeoffs
• Recommend plants, hardscape materials, lighting, drainage, and irrigation solutions
• Conduct site visits and field measurements
• Coordinate with installation crews and project managers
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the sales and design process
• Follow up on leads and assist in closing sales
• Order materials and communicate scheduling needs when necessary
• Ensure projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations
• Assist with marketing photos and project documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape design, estimating, or landscape sales preferred
• Knowledge of landscape plants, hardscape products, grading, and drainage
• Ability to read blueprints and property surveys
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficiency in design software is a plus (AutoCAD, Dynascape, SketchUp, or similar)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
