Landscape Designer / Gardner / Yard Person - Part Time - Flexible Hours

Arrowood Manufacturing in Norwood is looking for someone to improve the outside appearance of our facility. This includes planning, gardening and mowing of approximately 3-4 acres of property plus two small remote properties, one in Norwood and one in Albemarle. The goal is to keep our facilities looking nice.

If interested, this position can be expanded to part time duties such as: cleaning, running errands, research, etc.

We anticipate this position to require between 6-12 hours weekly, possibly more if you are interested in taking on other responsibilities. Although we prefer the work to be done Monday thru Friday, a good portion of the work can be performed 7 days per week when it is convenient for you.

Most of the work will be done at our Facility in Norwood and you will be paid for any required travel to the smaller properties. You will need a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Background Check for this position.

Basic Responsibilities

• Help Develop and maintain a Landscaping Plan for our property
• Research and purchase plants and other landscaping materials
• Planting, weed removal and other general gardening activities
• Mowing and trimming with our equipment
• Research and purchase fertilizer, weed killer, etc.

Required Skills

• Some knowledge of Landscaping, either Personally or Professionally
• Ability to Plan a Landscape and Planting Plan
• Willingness to do physical labor required for planting, mowing and trimming
• Computer Skills
• Organizing Skills
• Trustworthy
