Overview

Secret Garden Landscapes is seeking a creative and technically skilled Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant to join our growing design/build team. This role blends landscape design, 3D visualization, technical planning, client communication, and sales.

We are looking for someone who can bring strong technical knowledge to the team — including grading, drainage, layout, and construction understanding — while also creating visually compelling outdoor spaces and helping clients confidently move through the design process.

The ideal candidate is both creative and practical: someone who understands beautiful design, how projects are built, and how outdoor spaces need to function in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand project goals, lifestyle needs, and budget
• Create landscape concepts, planting plans, and outdoor living designs
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D renderings for presentations and client approvals
• Prepare layout plans and assist with grading, drainage, and site planning concepts
• Understand and incorporate drainage solutions, elevations, slopes, and site functionality into designs
• Assist clients in selecting materials, plants, lighting, and design features
• Prepare project proposals and support the estimating/sales process
• Conduct site measurements and document existing conditions
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams throughout construction
• Help guide projects from consultation through design development and project sales

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or design/build sales
• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Structure Studios/VizTerra, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, grading, drainage, and outdoor living design
• Ability to create professional drawings and visual presentations
• Understanding of how landscapes function structurally and aesthetically in the field
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Construction field experience is a strong plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $77,666.65 per year
