Landscape Engineer

SWIMMING POOL SPECIALIST (UAE EXPERIENCE ONLY)

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Technical Duties

• Develop and review landscape and irrigation designs, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Select suitable plant species based on climate, soil conditions, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
• Raise RFI (Request for Information) when design clarity is required.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise installation of softscape, hardscape, and irrigation works.
• Ensure proper soil preparation, grading, and drainage.
• Monitor tree planting, turfing, shrub planting, and plant health.
• Oversee installation of irrigation networks including piping, valves, controllers, and pumps.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and architectural teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections with consultants and ensure compliance with approved drawings.

3. Quality Assurance

• Verify landscape materials and plant quality before installation.
• Ensure that hardscape and irrigation works meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection forms, and quality checklists.

4. Project Management & Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Participate in coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and project managers.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, and variation claims.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery of landscape activities.
• Manage material procurement planning and site logistics.

5. Maintenance & Post-Construction

• Prepare plant maintenance schedules and irrigation operation manuals.
• Provide training to facility management teams on plant care and irrigation systems.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging before project handover.
• Monitor plant establishment period and ensure healthy growth.

6. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• Implement and follow site safety guidelines during landscape operations.
• Promote sustainable practices including water-efficient irrigation and environmentally responsible planting.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and local authority standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
