Landscape Engineer - Construction Experience

Job Summary

The purpose of this job is to plan, organize and provide supervision for the landscape and irrigation maintenance/construction operations and activities in assigned projects and oversee resource allocations on site

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships, creating a positive impression and demonstrating a proactive attitude
• To monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed and reporting any irregularities or problems to the landscape manager
• Supervise the overall landscape & irrigation activities of the site, attend to the complaints and rectifications.
• Ensure the team is given daily, weekly and monthly targets and are being productive at site
• Ensure sites are visited regularly, work / operational schedules are updated and the quality of sites is maintained as per contractual obligations
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to clients and team concerning plant choices, sourcing, work methods, the use of equipment and techniques and the analysis of results
• Possess in depth knowledge of plant physiology, soil science and plant nutrition
