Landscape Enhancement Designer

Department: Design
Reports To: Design Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: $70,000-90,000/yr
Location: Sudbury, MA

Position Summary: The Landscape Enhancement Designer is responsible for developing creative, functional, and client-focused landscape enhancements. This role oversees the design process from initial site evaluation and concept development through estimating, client approvals, and handoff to production teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to new prospect inquiries
  • Perform on-site evaluations of residential properties to identify enhancement needs and design opportunities
  • Work with clients to bring their vision to life using creative design and excellent customer service
  • Prepare accurate proposals and comprehensive design plans that align with client budgets and project goals
  • Conduct site reviews during and after installation to confirm quality and homeowner satisfaction
  • Upsell clients on additional services offered by the Company, such as property maintenance, irrigation & lighting, and snow removal
  • Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to the department's overall growth and sales goals

Preferred & Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience in landscape design and construction administration
  • Highly proficient with common landscaping materials and practices
  • Efficient graphic communication skills
  • New England plant knowledge
  • An ability to forge and foster long-lasting client relationships
  • Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish, English/Portuguese)

Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary upright position for extended periods of time occasionally
  • Move and position body to carry out job duties and place & inspect material
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold and precipitation
  • May be exposed to dust, pollen, insects, plants, and various outdoor irritants
  • May occasionally be required to work extended hours and/or weekends depending on workload
  • Occasional proximity to moving equipment & machinery, and moderate to heavy noise
