Job Description:
The Landscape Enhancement Foreman is responsible for the maintenance and care of various commercial landscape sites. This includes but is not limited to; Mulching, site clean-up, planting, plant pruning, site inspections and weed control (Spray Certified Preferred). You are responsible to complete many different types of tasks within the parameters given in a timely and efficient manner.
Basic / Essential Functions:
- Direct activities on the Jobsite, including but not limited to coordinating workflow, hands-on work, training and operating various types of landscape and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Able to work in an environment that requires physical labor
- Able to lift and move up to 50lb.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Manage on-site personnel effectively and efficiently.
- Communicating project requirements and goals with the crew members and customers.
- Monitor and check all tools and equipment to be used on sites for needed maintenance and report.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and organized manner for both safety and efficiency.
- Always maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Perform any other duties assigned effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to implement technology to aid in time tracking and project efficiency.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and manage a Landscape Enhancement crew.
- Ensures that all crew members utilize (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment.
- Ensures that all tools and equipment safety measures are followed.
- Ensures that all federal and company rules and policies are adhered to.
- If required, interacts with the customer, salesperson, estimator and other to help ensure customer satisfaction.
- Supervises all crew members while performing work to ensure work is being done correctly and efficiently.
- Communicates well with crew members, manager, other employees and the customer.
- Reports for work on time and ready.
- Follows direction from their manager or ownership.
- Strives to improve their own skills within the industry.
- Track and record time, material and equipment used on the jobsite daily using computer aided technology.
- Train members on your crew as to what is the best practices of installation based on industry and company standards
Requirements
- 2-4 Years of Landscape Experience
- Valid Driver’s Licenses
- Pruning Experience
- Irrigation Installation/repair Experience
- Ability to operate machinery
- Spray Certified (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
