GreenView Partners is a rapidly growing commercial landscape company serving central North Carolina, with offices in Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, Fayetteville, and Wilmington. Our clients include office parks, HOAs, apartment communities, and retail centers.

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Landscape Equipment and Automotive Mechanic for our Raleigh branch and are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who want to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Pay can and will increase depending on experience

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment and vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, construction equipment, and landscape machinery. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability of all equipment and vehicles

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on landscape equipment, including mowers and small engine equipment
• Diagnose and repair 2-cycle equipment (string trimmers, edgers, blowers)
• Perform routine automotive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, fluid checks) on a variety of vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently identify and troubleshoot problems
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
• Perform welding as needed for equipment and repair work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and hours worked
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in equipment and automotive repair

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an equipment or automotive mechanic, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and computerized controls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment, as well as dexterity to maneuver in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, especially during busy seasons or emergency situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred.
