Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. As a key leader on-site, you will oversee daily operations, supervise crew members, and ensure high-quality landscape projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction will drive the success of our projects while fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to execute landscape installation, maintenance, and construction projects.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and tree care.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Manage project timelines, materials procurement, and equipment usage to maximize efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on horticultural techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project goals are met with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites, maintain a good driving record.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related construction fields with a strong focus on landscape maintenance and gardening.
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and general gardening principles.
- Familiarity with landscape construction processes including planting, grading, hardscaping, and site preparation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
