Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes
• Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met
• Oversee construction tasks such as installing hardscapes, planting beds, irrigation systems, and other landscape features
• Manage tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
• Assign daily tasks to crew members based on project priorities and skill levels while monitoring progress
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to maintain high standards of horticulture, gardening, and overall landscape appearance
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools; facilitate repairs or replacements as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments with effective leadership skills
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization, aeration, and pest control
• Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape installation such as hardscape building and planting layouts
• Expertise in tree care practices including pruning, cabling, removal, and health assessment
• Ability to operate irrigation systems efficiently; knowledge of troubleshooting common issues
• Strong gardening skills with an eye for detail in plant selection and landscape design
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating team activities and liaising with clients or project managers
• Commitment to safety standards; ability to enforce safety protocols consistently
