LANDSCAPE FOREMAN & CREW LEADER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping crew and oversee daily operations for our small garden center. This role involves supervising team members, coordinating job sites, ensuring quality work, and maintaining strong communication with management and customers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality landscape installations and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a small crew in landscape installation and maintenance projects
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily work tasks to ensure efficiency and quality
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety practices
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns professionally
• Assist with planting, mulching, pruning, irrigation, and general garden center support as needed
• Maintain accurate records of job progress, labor, and materials

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related field
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of plants, materials, and landscape practices
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, skid steers, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a garden center environment
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems or hardscaping
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
