Landscape Foreman & Equipment Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and healthy. This role requires a blend of physical labor, technical knowledge, and a passion for landscaping. The Landscape Foreman will work closely with other team members to execute various landscape maintenance tasks throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping tasks including but not limited to planting, removal, mulching, edging, seasonal cleanups, lawn installations, and hardscaping.
• Must be able to manage a crew of 2-3 people
• Lead and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Execute snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Maintain landscape features such as gardens, flower beds, and shrubs, ensuring they are well-kept and thriving
• Must be able to operate necessary equipment such but not limited an excavator, front loader, or skid steer.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks such as digging, trimming, and shaping plants.

Skills

• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and practices.
• Experience with snow plowing equipment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and principles.
• Ability to maintain gardens and other green spaces effectively.
• Familiarity with grounds keeping duties and best practices.
• Competence in using hand tools and heavy equipment for landscaping tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
