Landscape Gardener (Full or Part Time)

Duties

• Prepare soil beds, plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery using proper planting techniques.
• Maintain landscapes through mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees and shrubs, and removing weeds to ensure healthy growth.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to perform routine gardening tasks efficiently.
• Use power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers safely and effectively.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, edging, fertilizing, aerating soil, and weeding .
• Collaborate with clients or team members to plan landscape designs that align with aesthetic goals and environmental sustainability standards.
• Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is essential.
• Hands-on experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, trimming, fertilizing.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, mulching, and soil preparation.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with power tools is a plus.
• Growing experience in agricultural or farming settings is beneficial for understanding plant development cycles.
• Strong understanding of horticultural principles related to plant health and sustainable practices.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail is crucial for quality results. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
