Landscape/ Infrastructure Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape / Infrastructure Inspector to oversee the quality and compliance of landscape and infrastructure works for a residential townhouses and infrastructure project. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring all works meet approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure high-quality delivery of external works and infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect landscape works including softscape (planting, trees, shrubs, irrigation) and hardscape (paving, kerbs, fences, pergolas, street furniture, and external finishes)
• Inspect infrastructure works including roads, utilities (drainage, sewer, stormwater, potable water, irrigation networks), and associated civil works
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality standards
• Review and respond to contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct stage-wise inspections
• Perform material inspections for delivered landscape and infrastructure materials to verify compliance with approved submittals
• Identify defects and non-conformities, issue Field Observations, prepare snag lists, and monitor timely rectification
• Verify proper installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems and underground utilities
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project teams to resolve quality issues and ensure workmanship standards
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental requirements
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain photographic documentation of site progress and issues
• Participate in substantial completion and handover inspections, prepare final snag lists, and verify close-out by the Contractor

Experience

• Proven experience in residential developments (townhouses/villas) and infrastructure projects is mandatory
• Consultant firm experience is required
• Strong familiarity with Dubai local authority standards (e.g., municipality, roads, and utility authorities)
• Experience in landscape and irrigation systems inspection is highly preferred

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret civil, infrastructure, and landscape drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, irrigation systems, and infrastructure works
• Excellent inspection, coordination, and reporting skills
• High attention to detail and quality orientation
• Ability to manage multiple inspection areas and priorities
