Landscape Installation Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES –Our Horticultural Operations Team is responsible for the preparation and installation of all horticultural products for clients throughout our service region. Primary duties may include among others:

• Assist in service for Interior & Exterior Plants and Containers
• Receive, unload, and unpack plants and related materials.
• Select, clean, and prepare plants for installation.
• Install plants, containers, etc. on new and existing client sites.
• Assistance in maintenance of Nursery
• Ability to drive company owned vehicles and possess a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Support other Divisions, such as Holiday Decorating

BASIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

• 3 years or more of professional experience and/or education in Horticultural or related live plant field
• Must be flexible and comfortable working with other team members or on one’s own without direct supervision.
• You must be comfortable taking directions and following instructions.
• Creativity while ensuring that the projects are completed in a safe professional manner, within budget, and on time.
• This is strenuous physical work requiring good vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to climb ladders and have good dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses, and other small tools.
• Need to be comfortable applying leaf cleaners and insecticides using hand-held pump sprayers.
• Must have a safe driving record, including passing our insurance companies coverage requirements.
• Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and have a neat and clean appearance.

• Assist with other special projects as they arise.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
