Landscape Installation Superintendent

The Landscape Installation Superintendent drives the coordination and installation of commercial projects from start to finish. This position also delivers assistance to the field crews and provides regular project updates to the Landscape Installation Manager. Key responsibilities associated with this position include:

Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, architects, developers & crew leaders
Scheduling field crew assignments and approving time submittals
Ensuring field crews possess the tools, equipment, and materials required for each installation project
Coordinating the timely delivery of irrigation, soil, mulch, and aggregate materials onsite
Supervising field crews during installation processes
Reviewing actual vs estimated production costs and identifying sources of variance
Enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety practices
Review field hours daily to ensure alignment with project budgets
Support accurate revenue recognition through job progress updates with a direct supervisor
Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs for each project
Coordinate equipment needs with fleet and shop teams
Provide coaching, training, and accountability to crew leaders.

Essential Qualifications

Sharp eye for installation details and knowledge required to troubleshoot wisely and efficiently
Ability to read construction plans and communicate detailed instructions to crew members
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously
Managerial talent to drive the desired level of performance while promoting a positive workplace
At least one year of landscape installation experience
At least 18 years of age with legal authorization to work in the United States
Valid driver’s license

Bilingual in English and Spanish
