Starting wages: $43,680.00.00 to $47,840.00 per year, depending on experience. Paid vacation, holidays, sick time, vision and dental.

This is a permanent, full time position at a fixed location with hours of 8:00 - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary. Some Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities will include set up and clean up for jobs and taking proper care of company trucks and equipment.

BASIC FUNCTIONS: Employees will work under the direction of our Irrigation Team Supervisor to perform a variety of irrigation related tasks for an assigned area and assist grounds maintenance crews as assigned for large-scale grounds maintenance projects.

ABILITY TO:-Perform general grounds maintenance and gardening work. -Perform heavy manual labor. -Use the tools and equipment of the irrigation and grounds maintenance area skillfully and safely. -Operate grounds maintenance equipment. -Work cooperatively with others. -Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:-Previous experience in irrigation is REQUIRED.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:-A valid California driver's license -Must be able to speak, read and write English

ENVIRONMENT:-Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions -Driving a vehicle to conduct work

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:-Ability to lift/carry heavy objects up to 85 lbs -Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized grounds equipment and power and hand tools -Reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally -Standing for extended periods of time -Walking over rough or uneven surfaces -Bending at the waist -Kneeling or crouching -Digging -Carrying, pushing and pulling grounds maintenance and irrigation equipment.
