Landscape Irrigation Technician

K2 Services, Inc. is hiring a motivated, dependable Landscape Irrigation Technician Trainee to join our growing landscape irrigation team. Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate who wants to build a career in the green industry. What you'll Do :

• Diagnose and service residential and commercial irrigation systems
• Identify root causes of system failures - Not just replace parts and hope for the best
• Apply your plant knowledge to esnure irrigation systems are properly supporting landscape health
• Safely operate equipment (mini-excavators, mini skid steers, hydroseeders, mowers, weed eaters, etc.)
• Work independently in the field and occasionally as a part of a small crew (2–4 team members)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Represent K2 professionally with clients who care deeply about their landscapes

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in any skilled trade or technical field (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, military maintenance, golf course maintenance, nursery/horticulture, etc)
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Passion for plants, horticulture, landscaping, or the green industry
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and reliability
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Must have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Must have had a relatively clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Must be comfortable driving a cargo van
• Experience with landscaping/irrigation equipment is helpful but not required
• A genuine troubleshooting mindset - You think WHY before you start replacing things
