Landscape Labor Assistant

Overview

Greensburg Country Club is seeking a motivated Landscape Labor Assistant to support our Landscape Superintendent. This is a hands-on role helping maintain and enhance the beauty of our club grounds. If you take pride in your work, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working outdoors, we’d love to have you on our team!

Duties

• Assist with daily landscaping tasks: weeding, mulching, planting, edging
• Maintain landscape beds, shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants
• Support seasonal projects and property improvements
• Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
• Keep work areas neat and organized
• Communicate with the Landscape Superintendent about needs or issues
• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to support landscaping projects and general site upkeep

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
• Ability to operate equipment is a plus but not required training provided
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols during equipment operation and manual tasks
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Willingness to learn about tree care, hardscape installation, and other landscaping techniques

Prior experience with landscaping or construction projects is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hands-on outdoor work is essential.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
