Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools
• Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush and healthy turf
• Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities
• Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and other machinery safely and efficiently during construction or seasonal maintenance
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including hardscape repairs, gardening chores, and general site cleanup
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping activities while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools safely
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree trimming, and horticulture principles
• Familiarity with landscaping construction processes like hardscape installation and planting procedures
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, pruners) and operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows when needed
• Understanding of irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting for efficient watering solutions
• Strong gardening skills with an eye for detail in plant health and landscape aesthetics
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
