Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects such as edging, digging, and planting.
• Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, watering, and snow plowing during winter months.
• Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Support construction projects by operating equipment like excavators under supervision and assisting with site preparation and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and equipment operation.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; eager to learn new skills related to landscaping and hardscape installation.
• Prior experience with tree care or snow plowing is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
