Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating to keep lawns lush and healthy
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote growth and safety
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing irrigation systems
• Support construction activities including excavation with equipment like excavators and setting hardscape elements
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance to ensure properties remain pristine and well-kept
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows (training provided if necessary)
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning for health and safety purposes
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety guidelines during landscape projects
• Willingness to learn about irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general maintenance procedures
• Prior experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
