Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including trimmers, blowers, and sheers safely and efficiently
• Support planting, transplanting, and tree care activities to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics
• Help install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other decorative elements
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing basic repairs when needed

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and small machinery effectively
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and horticulture principles
• Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., shovels, pruners) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) for various landscaping tasks
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair processes
• Ability to perform gardening tasks with attention to detail while maintaining safety standards in all operations
