Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy, attractive outdoor areas.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as edging, digging, and installing landscape features.
• Perform lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons.
• Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and basic tree health assessments.
• Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or hardscape installation is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment like excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including trimmers, blowers, shovels, and wheelbarrows.
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant care practices.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscape maintenance and construction.
