Landscape Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both beautiful and functional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. This position involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, construction, and care of plants and trees.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
• Support hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Utilize excavators and other machinery for digging or moving materials as required.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible.
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment effectively.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and practices.
• Experience in landscape maintenance including gardening and horticulture.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators.
