Landscape Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, construction, and gardening, supporting the creation and upkeep of beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be eager to learn new skills in landscaping and horticulture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and renovation projects
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, and tree care including tree trimming and arborist support
• Support hardscape projects involving stonework, pavers, or retaining walls
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Support general construction activities related to landscaping projects
• Perform routine gardening tasks including planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment such as excavators is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is advantageous
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel purposes
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in horticulture and hardscape installation
• Experience with tree care (including trimming) is beneficial but not required
