Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as edging, digging, planting, and installing hardscape features like patios or walkways
• Help with lawn care routines such as aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush turf growth
• Support excavation projects using equipment like excavators under supervision for site preparation or landscaping features

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
• Willingness to learn new skills related to tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing
