Duties

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of projects, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and installation.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, and irrigation system installation and repair.
• Lead construction activities like site preparation, grading, planting beds, hardscaping, and installing features such as retaining walls or pathways.
• Oversee tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and vitality.
• Manage irrigation systems—installing new setups or troubleshooting existing ones—to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
• Maintain client properties by performing gardening tasks that enhance aesthetic appeal while adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry best practices while motivating team members to uphold quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping projects, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design.
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization routines, and pest management.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping such as grading, hardscaping, and site preparation.
• Skills in tree care practices including pruning techniques and health assessments for trees of various sizes.
• Experience working with irrigation systems—installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance—preferred.
