Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, trimming, and installing landscape features
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting while ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible
• Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects
• Perform routine landscape maintenance including gardening tasks and general site cleanup to uphold project standards
• Follow safety procedures when using equipment like hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery to prevent accidents

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools such as trimmers, blowers,
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and aeration
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and horticulture principles
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair methods
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and planting
• Construction skills related to hardscape installation like patios or walkways
• Ability to perform gardening duties with attention to detail and plant health
• Basic understanding of snow plowing operations during winter months
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
