Landscape Laborer - Maintenance and Enhancements

Job Summary

This is a hands-on field position working on either commercial landscape maintenance or enhancement/installation projects. The right person is reliable, works safely, supports the team, follows directions, and helps complete jobs to EMI’s standards.

Job Duties

• Perform commercial landscape maintenance, enhancement, or installation work.
• Maintenance team members perform commercial mowing and trimming duties.
• Enhancement team members assist with planting, mulching, grading, seeding, sodding, and general site improvements.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Help keep jobs moving by staying productive and working as part of the team.
• Operate landscape tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Help complete daily truck, trailer, tool, and equipment checks as needed.
• Keep job sites, trucks, trailers, tools, and yard areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Assist with shop, yard, snow, and other support work as needed.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Landscape, enhancement, installation, or outdoor field experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use landscape tools and equipment, based on training and experience.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience driving trucks and trailers is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the day.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
