Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and laying hardscape features such as pavers and retaining walls
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, aerating, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery to assist with site preparation and landscape installation
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work preferred
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license is preferred; relevant certifications in landscaping or construction are a bonus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
