Landscape Laborer/Lawn Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer/Lawn Specialist to join our outdoor maintenance team for the 2026 season. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be eager to contribute to high-quality landscape projects.

Duties

• Mowing lawns and trimming grass using power tools and hand tools
• Performing landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and mulching
• Conducting tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal
• Assisting with gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment such as sharpening blades and oil changes
• Supporting construction projects related to landscaping or site development
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed during all operations to prevent accidents

Requirements

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools and landscaping equipment
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
• Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, tree care, and snow plowing is a plus
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
