Landscape Lighting Installer

Job Summary

Duties

• Install landscape lighting fixtures, wiring, and control systems following schematics and technical specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, secure, and connect lighting components accurately
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper operation
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems to maintain optimal performance
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for precise installation procedures
• Conduct system testing, adjustments, and fine-tuning to achieve desired lighting effects
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards related to low voltage electrical systems and electrical codes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service roles, especially with service technician responsibilities or electrical installations
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking concepts, and ability to read schematics
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and electrical safety protocols
• Experience working with computer networking or control systems is a plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness
