Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

  • Client Relationship Management & Retention:

Summary:

The Landscape Account Manager is a full-time, year-round position that is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience, retention, revenue growth through enhancement sales & management of your production teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A working knowledge of landscape construction, horticulture, and maintenance operations is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Serve as main point of contact for your book of business.
  • Build Strong, long term relationships with clients through our standardized client communication process.
  • Conduct regular property walks & Garden Score Card process.
  • Proactively address client concerns and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage Contract renewals, ensuring accuracy in scope, pricing and expectations.
  • Provide professional, timely communication with clients regarding schedules, progress updates, and next steps including BSM’S “FRIDAY FOLLOW UP”

Enhancement Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Identify, propose and close enhancement opportunities across your accounts.
  • Develop seasonal, long-term property improvement plans for clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals through LMN Operating Software.
  • Consistently meet enhancement sales goals targeting 50% of your base book of business.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of enhancement opportunities and follow through to close.

Documentation & Job Tracking

  • Following Sales Close-out Process to ensure timely invoicing & customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and distribute project Hand-off's for Enhancements to Production.

Maintenance & Enhancement Coordination

  • Walking Clients Sites and identifying site needs & Enhancements.
  • Complete BSM’S Quality Counts Scorecards.
  • Help hold production accountable to contract standards

Culture & Consistency:

  • Understands BSM’s culture and promotes our mission of the leading outdoor living company in southern WI.
  • Follow client communication plan.

Winter Operations Support

  • Route Manager Duties include Assist with snow operations, coordination, including route scheduling, communication, and timesheet approvals for specific route.

Job Requirements

  • Motivated with a professional growth mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in physically demanding outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as shoveling, lifting, and operating lawn and snow-removal equipment for extended periods.

Bonus & Commission Structure:

  • Renewals signed paid out at 1% of contract value for that fiscal year (both MN & Snow)
  • If 95% retention is hit, an additional .5% to be paid out.
  • Enhancement Sales
  • Paid out at 3% for the first $250,000.
  • Paid out at 4% for anything $250,000 +

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
