Job Summary

Traverse Outdoor (TO) is Northern Michigan's premier Landscape and Irrigation Contractor since 1977. We build and care for some the most beautiful and robust landscapes in the region.

We are seeking skilled and motivated Landscape Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company in the field, responsible for the installation and maintenance of beautiful landscapes. The goals of the Landscape Maintenance Crew are to preserve the health, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces through consistent, hands-on care.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Be Doing)

• Mulching, pruning, and general landscape care.
• Planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Monitoring and identifying plant health, identify issues, and help implement solutions.
• Using hand tools and power equipment safely and confidently.
• Keeping properties clean and sharp.

• Have reliable transportation to get to work daily and on time.
• Ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed.
• Understanding and willingness to navigate seasonal work (snow removal work may be available)

Pay & Benefits (What We Offer)

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Seasonal April - November (start and end dates weather dependent)
• 8 - 10 hour shift
• Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday typically on volunteer basis)
