Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead

At Figgins Trees and Turf, Inc., we are currently accepting applications for our landscape crew lead position. This position is important to the function of our maintenance crews. We provide all inclusive landscape maintenance services to residential and commercial clients and are looking to grow our team to include team members that enjoy spending time outdoors and working with their hands. Our mission is to design, install and maintain landscapes that inspire our customers and team members. No jobsite is the same and the working environment is always upbeat and high energy.

Landscape crew leads help to maintain the landscaping for clients sites according to company standards. They operate equipment such as zero turn mowers, stand on mowers, and other various hand held equipment. They should have some plant knowledge in terms of care and plant ID. They are responsible for making sure the result is achieved to the standards set by the client and company and making any small adjustments requested by the crew manager. They are also responsible for interacting with clients in a respectful, professional, and patient way. They are also responsible for assisting in the training of crew members to ensure that they are performing at an acceptable level. Basic knowledge of light and heavy equipment is also helpful for this position. They are responsible for making sure they stay busy and working in the most productive way possible. They are to keep in contact with the crew manager to relay any issues, concerns or other information that is necessary. They are also responsible for driving to and from job sites in a safe and responsible manner. They are responsible for having and maintaining a clean driving record and having a valid driver’s license. They are also required to keep all trucks, trailers and equipment looking clean and neat in appearance and make sure the interior of trucks and trailers are clean and organized.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
