Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and irrigation system management
• Lead a team of crew members, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve quality results
• Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within safety guidelines and budget parameters
• Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Manage equipment maintenance and proper usage of tools for landscaping, construction, and gardening tasks
• Assist with specialized tree care, horticulture practices, and lawn care techniques to enhance outdoor environments
• Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand project scope and deliver exceptional service

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on quality craftsmanship
• Strong supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, gardening practices, and tree care methods
• Ability to perform basic construction tasks related to landscape projects
• Leadership skills to motivate and guide crew members effectively
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and equipment maintenance
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
