Job Summary
The Enhancement Manager at Oxbow Pool and Landscape Contractors oversees the planning, estimating, execution, and close-out of landscape enhancement projects—typically generated through the Landscape Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of softscape and hardscape upgrades, irrigation improvements, planting enhancements, and other site-specific modifications. The Project Manager collaborates closely with Account Managers, Foremen, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Job Requirements

3–5 years of experience in landscape construction, enhancements, or project management

Strong understanding of softscape and hardscape installation practices

Ability to read landscape plans and interpret construction documents

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project management tracking tools

Working knowledge of landscape materials, costs, and industry trends

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Negotiation skills and understanding of vendor/subcontractor contracts

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and billing procedures

Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
General Responsibilities
Estimating & Bidding

Perform field site assessments to scope project needs

Prepare cost estimates for enhancement projects including plantings, irrigation, minor grading, and hardscape

Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales team to review client objectives and develop proposals

Stay informed on industry pricing, trends, and vendor availability

Present estimates and proposals to clients and internal teams professionally and accurately
Project Planning & Execution

Create detailed work plans and timelines for approved enhancement projects

Coordinate project execution with field teams including Account Managers, Foremen, and Leadmen

Manage project schedules and ensure material procurement aligns with deadlines

Ensure subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and performance compliance

Provide ongoing project updates to clients and internal departments
Budgeting & Documentation

Track project expenses and align against approved budgets

Handle change orders and update scope documentation accordingly

Submit progress and final billing in coordination with the accounting department

Maintain thorough documentation including timesheets, receipts, material logs, photos, and reports
Client & Team Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for enhancement projects

Proactively update clients on progress, timelines, and changes

Participate in client meetings, site walks, and final walkthroughs

Collaborate cross-departmentally with Maintenance and Construction teams to ensure continuity and high quality

Schedule & Work Location

- Full-time position based in Napa, CA
- Combination of office work and field responsibilities
- Regular travel to project sites throughout Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and the greater Bay Area for site walks, estimating, project oversight, and client meetings
- Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required depending on project schedules
