POSITION SUMMARY
Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisors are responsible for managing all maintenance field operations. They coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards. In addition, landscape field supervisors guide and mentor field staff and assist them in carrying out their duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assure that each foreman develops a thorough understanding of the projects under contract prior to beginning the project
Maintain safety on each project by requiring and conducting safety meetings and conducting daily safety inspections of equipment and jobsite.
Assure all field employees are issued and are using safety equipment
Insure that all employees are dressed in company issued attire daily and that any outer layer article of clothing is in line with the brand.
Communicate daily and as needed with all internal and external customers
Responsible for weekly payroll duties consisting of employee timesheets, recording of daily mileage, vehicle numbers and equipment numbers.
Responsible for time and material sheets for each jobsite during snow removal operations
Support the maintenance crews with the proper equipment, labor material and training as needed
Assist with estimating projects as needed
Ensures that company vehicles and equipment are operated and maintained properly; initiate any action to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment
Monitor project requirements such as equipment, manpower, special crews, materials, and other similar requirements for each project; assist each foreman with any scheduling problems
Manage the PTO time by scheduling requests 2 weeks in advance.
Company wide issue management, ensuring that no issue remains untouched for longer than 24 hours.
Adjustments to routing of LM routine maintenance as well as snow plowing to ensure the highest level of service and profitability.
Monitor the labor cost analysis for each project weekly and direct the appropriate Crew Leaders to make any necessary changes to achieve the project budget goals
Submit and maintain all records and reports required by each project and the division in an accurate and timely manner; assure foreman submit their daily paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure that all assigned employees are properly trained, motivated and performing to company standard
Conduct quarterly reviews with the field staff on the LM side.
Manage any subcontractors that are directly involved with the LM schedule.
Demonstrate efficient and effective organization and communication skills
Provide disciplinary action as needed for Maintenance Crew Leaders and Technicians
Actively seek out opportunities in the field and communicate with the responsible account manager to assist with the growth of sales.
Responsible for the quality checks to be documented once per quarter an all routine properties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Industry specific supervisory experience
Valid drivers license and clean record
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of landscape industry
Knowledge of Snow and Ice Management
Ability to meet all physical demands of the position- ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
Basic reasoning abilities to coordinate effective production
Knowledge and experience in the use of landscape equipment
Integrity in all business dealings with all parties
Ability to communicate and translate Spanish a plus
Commercial Pesticide Applicator license
Year round employment- This position is a critical component to our Snow operation.

While performing the duties of this job the position is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The position is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts in tight, constrained places. Encountering wet conditions in both extreme heat and cold is often part of the position. Heavy lifting (excess of sixty pounds) and moving of materials may be required. Frequent driving is required. Noise levels in the work environment are moderate. In the winter months it is common to be on call many nights and weekends.

Offered compensation: $55,000/yr - $65,000/yr
