Landscape Maintenance Foreman/Irrigator

Duties:

Crew Leadership & Field Operations

• Supervise and lead landscape maintenance crews in daily operations.
• Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
• Train crew members on proper horticultural practices, equipment use, and safety procedures.
• Monitor productivity and adjust crew workflow to meet contract specifications and budgets.
• Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings and enforce all safety protocols.

Irrigation System Management

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems including valves, controllers, drip systems, and sprinklers.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers based on seasonal needs, plant material, and local water regulations.
• Identify and repair leaks, overspray, and inefficiencies to reduce water waste.
• Perform routine irrigation audits to ensure uniform coverage and system performance.
• Coordinate major irrigation repairs or upgrades with management.

Landscape Maintenance Oversight

• Ensure proper mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and cleanup practices are followed.
• Monitor plant health and identify issues such as pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Coordinate seasonal color rotations, fertilization, and turf care programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing common areas throughout the HOA.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of landscape maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, troubleshooting, and water management.
• Ability to read irrigation plans and landscape specifications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED!
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
