Landscape Maintenance Laborer

Now hiring Laborers for our Landscape Maintenance division!

Full-time, year round employment. Pay rate is based on experience!

Only candidates with minimum 1 year relevant experience need apply.

Job Specific Duties:

• Perform ALL landscape maintenance duties: mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, hedging, and debris removal
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe
• Properly and safely operate all battery-operated equipment/machinery
• Perform landscape enhancements such as: plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding & fertilization
• Plant and maintain flower beds
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of sprinkler and irrigation systems
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, equipment, and supplies
• Assist with tool/equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader

Candidates MUST:

• Be proactive and maintain open communication with assigned Crew Lead and or Team Leader
• Be able to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Be able to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
• Be able to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
• Be able to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
• Safeguard all company property from theft and misuse
• Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances

Language: Bilingual (English and Spanish) is strongly preferred
