Landscape Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks that ensure the proper functioning and aesthetic appeal of our properties. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform various landscaping and maintenance duties, including snow plowing, tree care, and hardscape installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, landscaping, and irrigation system management.
• Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively for various maintenance projects.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Build and maintain hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Execute tree care activities including trimming and removal as necessary.
• Assist in landscape design and implementation to enhance property aesthetics.
• Regularly inspect properties for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with landscaping practices including tree care, mowing, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
